Kiara Advani looked like a dream at her wedding functions. All of her outfits were drop-dead-gorgeous and that dreamy bridal entry of hers not only made Siddharth Malhotra go crazy but it also took social media by storm. The best part about her bridal looks is that she ditched the traditional wedding looks and perfected the contemporary styles while at the same time embracing the essence of a modern Indian bride. The key highlight of her all-bridal looks was that one element of surprise in all her bridal ensembles. Beginning with her mehendi…

 

 

 

 

Kiara looked gorgeous in her mehendi. She chose an exquisite ensemble in ivory. It was a gorgeous chikankari lehenga embellished with gold embroidery. The lehenga was designed by none other than Manish Malhotra. There was a pop of yellow was added to her look with the dupatta, that not only brightened up the outfit but also colour-coordinated her with the groom! We also loved the blouse that had pearl embroidered sleeves and a scalloped edge below the bust making it look stunning. To complement her look she donned a polki choker with pastel beads paired with a longer haar. Her makeup look was a barely-there natural look with nude eyes and lips, fluttery lashes, soft blush and almost no contour with her bold brows! For hair, she chose a loose messy braid which was fuss-free and delicate. Her mehendi look was total goals!

 

 

Then it was the glamorous sangeet

 

 

 

Sangeet looked like a total glam affair! Kiara chose a sparkly gold lehenga. She embraced an extravagant glamour in Manish Malhotra’s artistic ombre lehenga. It was a personalised lehenga featuring meticulous handwork that took 4000 hours to craft. It had a striking gold to silver transition, embellished with 98000 sparkling Swarovski crystals that were paired with their haute couture stole with marabou feather detailing. In her sangeet look her lehenga was the key highlight and not the jewellery. She wore a modern diamond neckpiece with a gigantic ruby pendant, by Manish Malhotra’s Jewellery line. Her hair and makeup for this event were pretty breezy as she chose to leave her hair open for a wavy look. Again she went for a barely-there makeup look. Though it was dewy, their face brightened with highlighter, nude lips and brown smokey eyes that completed her look.

 

 

The Dreamy D-day!

 

 

There is no doubt that Kiara’s wedding look was a rage all over social media. There were so many elements that wowed us! Kiara wore an ombre lehenga in light pink, with dark borders. Manish Malhotra, described the lehenga’s hue as ’empress pink’, and we can say that this will become a very trending shade for this year’s brides. The lehenga featured intricate embroidery detailing of roman architecture. It was inspired by the couple’s special love for the city of domes. It had real swarvoski crystals that added gorgeous sparkle to the look. Her wedding jewellery was no less than a spectacle! It was in contrast against her light pink lehenga which was curated with rare emeralds and diamonds. The best part of her jewellery was her studs as we loved her idea of ditching the traditional earrings, which added a modern touch to her ensemble.

 

 

Though her beautiful emerald and diamond bangles added grace to her wrists what caught our eyes was her dual-toned pastel chooda with pink and white and a diamond haathphool. Even her kaleeras were really special as they had a personalised love story too that was designed by Mrinalini Chandra. It had stars, the moon, the couple’s initials and butterflies making it look all dreamy. She also had a thoughtful dedication to Siddharth’s beloved pet, as well as her favourite travel destination- so she had a lot of domes incorporated into the design. Let’s not forget her minimal mehendi which was lovely!

 

 

Even for her bridal makeup, she went for a minimal look. She went for fluttery lashes, subtle contour, nude lips, and warm smokey eyes- making her look gorgeous- very natural and beautiful.

 

Her bridal bun had florals to match the contrasting lehenga, which looked beautiful!

 

 

Last, but not least The Reception

 

 

Kiara’s reception look was very different from what other celebrity brides chose for their reception. Her look received quite a mixed reaction but we loved it. It was modern, and edgy, and came with a gorgeous necklace that was the highlight!

 

She donned a monochrome haute-couture sculptural gown by Manish Malhotra. It was an ebony-ivory construction in a velvet-satin combination. The silhouette had sharp cuts with a wide sleek squared neck and power sleeves and let’s not forget the romanticised fish cut trail.

 

 

She ditched earrings for her reception though her necklace grabbed a lot of attention! The necklace was actually a combination of three layered necklaces- a magnificent choker, a layered diamond necklace and a long laureate necklace- all from Manish Malhotra Jewellery.

 

She kept her look modern and contemporary with a low slicked-back bun with nude, natural makeup. Her eyes were the highlight with her statement brows and a soft smokey look and her cheekbones were highlighted beautifully.
