The wedding of Sidharth and Kiara seemed like something out of a storybook. It influenced, moved and inspired us in ways that are beyond our comprehension. Even while we were enamoured with every single gorgeous detail of the wedding, there was one particular aspect—Ranjha, the Sid-Kiara version—that really captured our hearts and made us fall in love with the new version of the song. We couldn’t stop watching the wedding video that was released, when the stunning Kiara Advani made her gorgeous bridal entrance in the song. Their wedding song has a kind of chokehold on us. We are overjoyed that Sony Music India just gave us a pleasant surprise by releasing the complete version of Ranjha! According to Vishal Punjabi, also known as The Wedding Filmer, who documented the gorgeous wedding of Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, “She wanted to walk towards Sidharth on ‘Ranjha,’ which is their song.” But the tune is depressing! I quarrelled. “Nonetheless, it’s our song!” she insisted. We respectfully revised the lyrics to reflect the present happy circumstances, and all of a sudden, everyone’s hopes came true.”
